The apostolic constitution Anglicanorum Coetibus was issued by Pope Benedict XVI in November 2009 to address the needs of Anglicans wishing to enter the Catholic Church. It created new procedures for Anglican groups to come enter into full communion with the Catholic Church while retaining a degree of autonomy and elements of their Anglican heritage and liturgical practices.
